Front Bushings - best source?

I'd like to keep the original shocks. How long to rebuild mine and send them back to me?

I thought these things cracked control arms with rubber too. I have one that cracked. I have replacement arms w/ a union jack and says " a British reproduction". Are those decent arms?

Sorry, I should have mentioned, Peter these questions were for you.

By original shocks I mean the ones off of the car.

Kelly, call the phone # on the website. I've always received a quick and accurate response. Or email him direct.

Thanks Trev. I hate to bother him. I know he's busy. He'll be around when he has time.

Ummm... he is not a one man shop. He has staff. He is only "busy" during curling season.

I called up the other day, the receptionist answered.
I said I need to speak with Peter if he is available.
He got right on the phone and helped me out.
My rubber bushings and a couple 'goodies' should arrive early next week.

What's so important about receiving the exact same shocks from your car?
Concourse judging event in your future?
They are not numbered and registered to the car IIRC.

I know this sounds silly. I'm a VERY sentimental guy. Those are the shocks from the car I accidently gave my wife for her birthday. Those are the shocks that were on the first car I drove as her husband. Not only was it as her husband and was with her in the car, but from the car we used in our wedding. It's more than parts, it's more than a car. It's part of our history. Someting I'd like to keep intact as much as possible.

IMO the more you swap up parts, the more character a car looses. It becomes another car. I don't want that. Yeah, I know, it sounds silly.

Not to mention these are in really good shape to begin with. Better core, better product.

Well that explains that.
Good memories, I guess this explains a little why you are "kelly's guy".
