Front Bumper

I just installed my Ebay front bumber on my '74 to replace the '69 and earlier one that came with it. I don't know if it is because the bumper is smaller, but it looks like it sits too far forward on the car. Does anyone have the approx measurement of this - say from the inside edge of the bumber to the front fender just under the turn signal? Mine measures 1.5 inches. I am sure that it is okay and the more I look at it, the more "right" it looks. Just thought I would check with the experts here.

Mine is about 1.7 inches, it's a 74 CB, the .2 of an inch is probably due to my lamp brackets, but what you say is spot on. That size is about right....
PICS!
