I may be avalible if you get bored durring the day. Give me a shout.

Here's a few places uptown that are great. https://jacques-imos.com/ it's right next door to this place : https://www.mapleleafbar.com/ so you can catch dinner and a good show without having to go far. Dancing is optional. The best thing is yoyu can take the street car all the way down. If I only had one night to take someone to give them a true feel of the city this would probably be it. It's always a good time. I prefer the uptown area v.s downtown. It's not touristy, nice, easy to walk and it's how the locals do it. Magazine Street alone could keep y'all busy the whole trip, lots to see. Here's one of my favorite places when I lived there: https://www.neworleansonline.com/directory/location.php?locationID=265 . Funky, cozy, usually a good show playing anytime and lots of fun. Inside pic is of the front, band plays inside inna back. Free oyster Friday was always cool. I became good friends with the shucker.

And of course let's not forget: https://www.tipitinas.com/

Here's a good tool for findin' out what's happenin' when and where: https://www.bestofneworleans.com/

I would if I could.

Carrollton Tavern or Camellia Grill sounds good.

Just heard that Franky and Johnnie's is closed.

There's always Liuzza's.

Ooof, F&J's was right down the street from me . Hey had a hot PR chick from my trig class that worked there.

Carrollton Tavern may have closed down - been a while.
