Greetings and salutations. I come in peace and bring good tidings.

I acquired on Sunday, Nigel, a 1977 MGB.

as a replacement to Lancelot, my 1967 Austin Mini Moke that has moved on to more tropical climates.

I have been keeping a British car in the stables in one form or the other for the past 15 years. Though I'm married to a British Woman I do think my afliction is based on colonial mentality as I emigrated from a former colony.

Well there you go. I shall bid my time by perusing the archives.

Regards.

Hey, Quicksilver, welcome to the Forum!!

Another welcome from a true North North Dallas guy, from Oklahoma!

Welcome from me as well, another ex-pat...... So, which colony are you from? And whereabouts in the UK is the wife from? I escaped from Wolverhampton, myself.

I had several R/B MGBs, good, practical and reliable cars.

Thanks for the welcome Guys.

I hail from Nigeria and the Mrs is from Poole, thereabouts.
