Hi everyone, This is the first time using this kind of Forum so please be patient with me. I might have some real dumb questions but I assure you they are Important to me. Now, little bit about me. I'm living in South Florida, been living here for 35 years but grew up in Los Angeles California This is where my story begins About The TR6, let me explain. When I was 12-year-old I remember One day i took my bike to the Local gas station To fill up my bicycle tire, as I was doing that I heard a roar of an engine That stopped to gas up. As I looked up to see what made that strange sound., i saw a yellow TR6 for the first time, this was love at first sight. I couldn't believe how beautiful this vehicle was, just kept staring at it until the man that owned the car approached me to ask me if anything was wrong. I answered no but Proceeded to ask him about what kind of car he had. I also told him that his car was just Awesome. He Laugh and started to give me a history of the car that lasted over 20 minutes. I was hooked! Before the man drove off I told him that one day I would Own a car like his, As the man drove off he yelled out, good luck kid. The rest is history.

Javier - welcome to BCF.

So ... did you get your TR6 yet? We like pictures!

Lots of stories here on the forum. My interest began in high school, when my parents gave me a Jaguar Mk VII sedan. Figured it was the safest car a teenager could have.

After I retired I became "re-obsessed" - and the rest is history.

Hey, Javier, Welcome to the Asylum!

Don't worry about "real dumb questions", we all had to learn sometime.

And we're all just a bit obsessed. I fell in love with the first TR3 I ever saw (almost 40 years ago now) and managed to talk my Dad into buying it. He still has it, but I bought my own a few years later and I've owned a long succession of them since then. Too cheap to pay someone else, so I've done pretty much all my own work, starting out without so much as a Haynes manual.

Welcome Javier. At the risk of being 'sexist' know that I am female and I have learned so much that I now know my Healey very well. Can even diagnose problems and don't feel helpless like I did in the beginning. I owe most of that to the Forum. Indeed when I joined my Healey was in boxes and total disarray and thanks to the forum they pointed me in the right direction for a restoration. Never regretted it and am eternally grateful and indebted. Enjoy the forum.:winner1:you for having the good sense to join BCF.
