I was reading the Horler Original Sprite and Midget book and he mentions that one option for the Bugeye was a fresh air system for hot climates, that was essentially just a hose and plenum setup that would be used in place of the heater unit. It would take in fresh air, like the heater unit, but it would just let the air go into the plenum and straight to the interior vents. Has anyone ever seen a car that actually has this?
I live in Florida, and wonder if it would be worthwhile to make-up a simple unit like this, just to get some fresh air into the footwells. I had a 1965 Mustang that had big vents in the footwell that let a lot of air in. But, with the Bugeye, it may not be worth rhe effort. Jim
