Any of you guys find a inexpensive source for the 4 inch fresh air hose. Tried McMaster-carr and they didn't have the right type. thanks !
 
I'll have to measure. It's 2 pieces 1 for fresh air and 1 from grill to heater blower. The blower to heater box is 3 1/4. Maybe 6 or 7 ft. I'll measure tonight. It's a ribbed cardboard over foil I think.
 
Moss has them pre-cut and the proper size. They are hard enough to fit if they are the correct size. I don't ever want to do it again with the fenders on. Mine had 4" shinny aluminum dryer hose on it when I bought the car. Ugly and poor fitting diameter and easy to poke through than the "paper" ones Moss sells.
 
That wass for drying you out after driving in the rain!!!! But you had to drive in reverse to get the air flow in the correct direction.

Toms Imports had a good alternative for the original stuff.

Those look like black dryer hoses. They are rugged and most likely will outlast the car.

The one's moss motors sells look original and just looks better when installed. If you don't care about having dryer looking hoses in there, then get Tom's.
 
You may get fresh air, but it will still be hot!. I tried the neoprene and even a van in line. It is still hot air that gets to your feet.

Non-original, but easy to install. Spectre Performance. www.poweradder.com #9751 $29.99 at Pep Boys. Two rubber connectors with each kit.Ducts can be threaded together to go on the fresh air side (use half of the length of a second kit). Use the other half on the 4" side of the heater. They compress for easy fitting, and then pull open to expand. Black. Good luck, Bob
