Free PV544

I was looking through the local craigslist,
& noticed the post for a free '61 Volvo PV544.
I sent a question to the owner saying that I'd
like to see it.
I don't want it that bad,but it's free!
One of those older cars that's grown on me over
the years.

Had a friend, who in 1986, made the flight to CA to buy the same car, drove it home to NY and loved every minute of it.

Oh great..!..I Googled PV544 to see what it looks like only to discover Volvo made pre-war cars and they are COOL! I am partial to pre-war cars and NOW I have to add Volvo to my list.... Thanks guys, thanks A LOT! LOL

I had a 544 and I have to say it was the most stubbern car I ever owned to start in the winter time. Actually had to keep it in a heated garage. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. The only thing is, I wish I had it today!
