FREE Mini in Ontario

[ QUOTE ]
I was thinking that it would be a fun to get a one way ticket to Canada and drive the MINI back home to Alabama. That would have to be an epic trip. That is if I WAS the lucky dog to be the first at 6:30am to respond. Congrats to our winner of the MINI lottery! and good form to its previous owner. I'm sure he knows it is going to a good home.

It is going to a good home ok but I don't think you would have wanted to drive it home to Alabama

I saw that just about the time it was posted but it was so far away.

Dash is soon on the way over to you Willie, to hide that rather interesting bird's nest. PM me your mailing address.
Car went like the proverbial '...waste...' off a shovel when I last saw it/drove it, that was in '03.
Enjoy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

PM sent. I think what I will do is strip all the covering off the sprint harness and just use the wires i need for the essentials like ecm, starter, lights, horn, wipers, and I may put an aftermarket heater in it but my son says why bother if is not going to be driven in the winter and he has a point

Actually, a heater was on my list of things to do as well.
I wanted to keep the original oval center pod and gauges, but wiring them to the newer engine might be somewhat of a project...
I bought the car mainly to torque steer across Canada with my daughter one day, so when I visit Canada, and if the car's up and running, I'd love to take it for a short spin with her for old time's sake.
My daughter was only a couple of months old when I tackled the interior, she sat patiently (usually) in a car seat next to the car with a bottle of milk watching daddy crawl around in that car.
