Free Herald body Parts

Shameless plug, but Dear Old Dad needs these '66 Herald 1200 parts off of his place. Free, free, FREE!!!!!! These are restorable parts. All you need to do is come pick them up in central NC. If you're serious, pick-up can wait until spring.

Andy, send me the number of the lamps you needed (again) and we'll pull those off and get them to you.

I have pictures somewhere and will send them along to anyone interested.

Did I forget to mention these items are FREE?!

Thanks for the post and link. I mentioned this to a friend of mine and he has sent an email request to pick up the whole lot.

Glad the bits have found a home! I'd have been there and back by now, but it's too long a trip for me right now. (To be honest, my trailer hasn't moved since the last Herald parts car I picked up about 9-10 years ago, and that Herald is still on said trailer!?)

Off topic but interesting. While visiting the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in July they were unloading some new arrivals and one of them was a red Herald.

Possible they might be looking for parts.

Does this mean that Heralds are now recognized as super classy cars comparable with Auburn Cords or Duesenbergs??

That's a rare color... :p Drove mine today!

These parts are still available for someone wanting a FREE and restoreable bonnet, boot lid, and top among some other various pieces and parts. I'll send pictures to anyone that is interested.

We really don't want to see these go to the scrapyard, but it is getting to that point. :cryin:
