That is funny! Reminds me of the guy who listed a model of an AH on Ebay over the winter, it was obviously a model and he used every positive spin comment and sentence anyone had ever used on Ebay, it was a real hoot!

Actually I met that guy a few months ago - quite a character. When I stopped by he was about to craft fins on a tired GT6 to create a mini batmobile. If he knows you are a real british car collector and not just an ebayer, though, he will sell you parts at very good prices. And he's got a bunch of them.

Who is he, where is he at?
 
His name is Arthur, he has a rambling place in Austin Texas, he is a metal sculptor/artist/british car mechanic combo. Actually I think he's a nice guy, definitely interesting. I bought a boot lid off of him for a very good price. I think he's helped with one or two art cars for the Houston art car parade, at least I think that was why he was doing the mini-batmobile. Probably had 6-7 cars in his yard, TR8/TR4/TR6/TR3/Jag/Alpine and a few storage buildings chocked full of stuff.
