I do believe Ifound the BT7 that my father restored back in 72,the ad is the just brits classifieds,found by accident,the owner had sold it. Would like to know if I should try to contact the new owner to see when down the road if he should decide to sell or not, should I persue this or kiss this goodbye. I do have the registration from 72 that has the vin. no. Thanks stinky

A few months ago, I tracked down the couple I bought my 1960 BT7 from back in 1963. They now live about 50 miles from my home. I called them and asked if they would like to see their car. They were delighted I had tracked them down (Thank you Mr. Internet) and we spent a wonderful afternoon talking about their early married life with the Healey and how sad they were to sell it when they started their family. I was suprised they still remembered how my father was not that excited about his 17 year old son (me) buying a sports car. We all took pictures and I promised to bring the car back next sping and let them take it for a spin with the top down.

Thank, you all,I'm currantly restoring the first healey, dad ever bought,he used this one to drive me back and forth to work the second one he bought was crunched up pretty bad it's just good to know this ones still out there, running the streets ,so many memories /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
