Wheeler Dealers is a great show. Then also did one on the Porsche 928 too. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

between cost of car and cost of repairs, they didn't. The host of the show thinks he could have gotten 5k to 10K British Pounds for the end product, but sold the car for 2999.

Hm, they didn't touch anything mechanically, it seems somewhat unsettling; looks nice, though.

I love these videos that have recently been cropping up on the forum, especially "An MG Is Born."

I watched these shows, too: they are great!

I was especially interested in two things: 1) they had to repair an area of rust just in front of one corner of the windscreen that looked identical to an area I had to repair on Harold, 2) they didn't even attempt to refit the windscreen themselves: they sent it out to an expert and had it done for 100 quid ... a bargain if ever I heard one.

Another comment: the paint job seemed overkill given the value of the car.

When you are all done there is no such thing as an overkill paint job. Especialy if you are going to keep the car.
