You mean the spoiler tag? In the reply window you'll see the
spoiler.gif
button. Click on that and then insert you're text (or image) between the tags.
 
Note - you will only see the spoiler button he speaks of when using the "Full Reply Screen" otherwise known as the "Advanced Editor" You can't do it using the "Quick Reply" window.
