Forum has been a little slow

For the last day and a half (or so). When I click on a thread, the page takes a long time to load. When I reload the page by either a refresh or using the back key, then re-clicking the post, things are back to normal speed. I don't have this happen on other sites and my email downloads have been smokin' fast.
 
Hmmm, not sure what the problem could be. Seems as fast as ever for me.
 
I'm going to try a re-boot to see if that helps. System will be gone for a moment.

Well, I just re-booted the server, lets see if that makes a difference. It could be a router somewhere that some folks go though and some don't. Just a guess.

Might be, I still get some slow loads but the forum response time seems good.

Not certain where th' bottleneck is.
 
Where the bottle neck is ,everything goes thru your 25,500 odd post first.!

Feels like I'm using a Commodore 64 with dial up
 
and me. With mine, the header loads quickly, but then the rest of the page can take up to 10 seconds to appear. Other internet sites are working normally for me.
 
Absolutely fast appearing here. Click a thread and it shows up nearly instantly.

exactly the same as you,header is instant the rest takes up to fifteen seconds to load....other sites work normally as well
 
...I take it back: I just went through and loaded a bunch of threads. Two of them had a slight delay after the header. Nothing like 15 seconds, more like 1-2 second delay. This thread and most others pop up <span style="font-style: italic">quick</span> though.
