That reminds me of THIS

An oldie but a goodie!

 Thanks, Basil. I needed a laugh after today. I almost had a Clark Griswald moment after he got his Christmas "bonus." We'll have three families in our house tomorrow at noon. Where's my rum?

Geez, Basil, those are the sounds I catch myself making in my garage all the time, seeing as how my car is perennially on blocks.

Speaking of Christine, the movie, this brings back painful memories for me. My first cousin is a Hollywood, CA, investment guru who lives large in the style of movie stars. He convinced me many years ago to "invest in the movies", a large block of movies where we the investor side took all the risks, whereas the owners' side scraped any profits. Guess which side I was on and guess which side he was on. Anyway, we owned a minuscule piece of such moves as Christine, Annie and Ghostbusters. Painful memories indeed. I still don't talk to my cousin. I still think of Christine as a comedy....of errors.

More on my cousin the shyster. I still have memories of him in the early days of his career cruising the freeways of L.A. in his baby blue Town Car with a fake cell phone constantly in his ear. This was in the early days of cell phones when very few people had them, including my cousin. Oh, and I convinced my ex-CPA to invest in my cousin's scam. The key word here is ex. He still doesn't talk to me either.

The sounds I make in the garage whilst working on my car wouldn't bear repeating in polite company: or even the BCF; if its rules apply....

I wonder if I can get my new engine for the MG to sound like that.
