Spotted at the entrance to LBI (Long Beach Island) as we begin our vacation. No photo.....too busy driving. Jammed in a tight parking space in front of a liquor store, just off the island bridge.

In my estimation, it was one of the modern Ford-built cars and not a modern replica (and certainly not a real one).

We never see interesting cars on our vacation.....it seems like most folks leave them home when they head to the beach.

Also, since we are at the Jersey Shore, I will see dozens of Piper Cub J3s and Aeronca Champs (towing banners).

Cool! (but did you see Snooki?)

No. Did you see any Eskimos or walruses? :jester:

Actually, we're in LBI. Snooki was at Island Beach Peninsula, which is a much different place.
A fair amount of Quebec plates here.
A few years back, my Dad rented a place next to the Jersey Shore TV show. My sister saw Snooki all the time.
Don't forget: the folks on that TV show are from NY, not NJ.

Pretty depressing song.

On our last day at LBI we saw this old girl with flat black paint, old-style roof rack and period-correct suitcases on top.
I assume it's a Chevy. Sort cool.

We also saw a Porsche Speedster. I'd guess it was a replica since real ones are six figures these days, and this one looked well-used. It had dull red paint (almost like red primer) and some beach chairs bungy-corded to the rear deck.
