I stopped & talked to a woman down the hill from us today.
Her Dad went into assisted living,& then passed away.He had
two F250s,,a White one (97),& a Charcoal colored one ('93).both
have been setting for over two years, without anything being done
to them.Not even started,or anything.Unknown mileage,as the
battery is dead). All options. Will need new tires.
The '97 (White) is in pretty good shape ,and doesn't appear to
have any rust, except on the rear bumper. Factory 7.3 Power Stroke -
Turbo Diesel,& appears to have all of the options.
The '93 (Charcoal) has some rust in the lower parts of the fenders,
& is also has a factory 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel,& needs some work on the
interior, but appears it could be a good driver.Unknown mileage,as the battery
is dead. You have to turn it on to read the mileage. Will need new tires.
I told her that she should scrub the White one down,& clean it out
before advertising it,& sell each "As is - Where is".

Any idea about what these would be worth "as-is"?
As I understand it,the 7.3 is the desirable diesel engine.Am I right?

Here's some pictures of the '97.

The grey one is 4X4. That will add to the value.
If she can get them running, they will be worth a lot more.
If she just wants to dump them, put $2,500 on each of them as is.

Unfortunately, with them not running not very much. Around where I live maybe $1500 for 2WD and $2000 for the 4x4, and that is me being optimistic.

They are parts vehicles if they aren't running. So, adjusting my estimate to take into account both being 4x4s I would say $4,000 total. Especially with the one having some rust. Here in Oklahoma rust kills the value.
