Anybody know of one? My Cooper based sports/racer has some Anglia bits in the front suspension, I need to find part Y-3122 cotter pin. Found the part in UK, but freight costs more than the part. I can buy the entire spindle assembly in the US from hot rod suppliers, but not the pin only.

Thanks guys. I searched the part number at those sites and didn't come up with anything. I looked at the part carefully and noticed it was tapered on one side only, facing a notch in the kingpin. I went to Ace, bought an axle bolt and made one. At least I found a source for some of the parts anyway. What surprised me at first was the availability of the complete assembly, but the English Ford has been in the realm of the rodders for a long time. Onward. New tires & tubes arrive next week, 145R15. Today I will start working on external muffler mount bracketing and connecting tubing to the headers.

Kinda fun to be able to make a part when you need it.

On this project it has been a necessity. English wheel and mini lathe purchased to make parts. McMaster-Carr has been a great source of parts for me to modify to fit. Learning new skills at 72; it has been fun.
