For Tony's eyes only

Well a 1935 Morris 10 has a nice 1292cc sidevalve motor, that MG based the TA midget engine on, and it was an early ancestor of the famous XPAG engine that powered MGs right up until Austin's engines swept the board in the 1950s....

The light truck version of the M10 was the backbone of the British Army in WW2.

Trivia, trivia, trivia....

Quit debating yourself and do it Tony!! They don't come by that often and it seems to be at a fair price!! You are the guy who can do it justice!! What did you build the Garagemahal for if not to house this stuff?? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

I'm so jealous.
Go get it Tony, you will some serious kicking of yourself if you don't.
1600 miles should be a fun weekend.

PS, there's lots of Antique Shops in PA!

The "Buy it now" disappeared, hmmmm...but I'm the high bidder right now.

Does the "buy it now" option go away when the reserve is met?

Yes..Tony...the difference covers shipping costs...

It does, Trevor, I learned that today also! So now, I've put my max in based on his "buy it now" price & we'll see what happens....If I'd known it over the weekend after I got the transportation problem solved, I'd have done a "buy it now"!

$750 to get it from there to my garage.

Tony, Kay likes it.

when someone bids on on item, buy it now disappears. Tony, you may have done it to yourself my friend...

No, it only disappears when the reserve price is met...when I first saw the ar, it had 3 bids on it but the "buy it now" was still available...by the time I talked with the owner & got confirmation of price to ship, "Buy it now" was gone - so I placed my max bid based on the total package.....right now its $1 over my max...we'll wait until a few minutes before the auction ends.

If I don't get it, I'm not upset because I really want an MG Y-Type Saloon.

sometimes works out for the seller...ended up going for $150.00 over the BUY IT NOW!...

Yep, & I wouldn't have paid that much...so, everything worked out...I'll just continue searching for an MG Y-Type Saloon.

Prudent, Colonel. Well bowled. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Land of cleves. Same transport costs, much less info on the car itself.

Not enough info to cause me to call on it.
