General MG For those who remember Tony Barnhill

Gosh. He never sent ME a hat!!! :smirk: :jester:

...and I sincerely wish he were here to banter that back-and-forth for half a dozen posts...

As it happens, I just got off the phone with Tony's wife, Jerri. We've been in touch fairly regularly, and she called to check in. She also asked if I had one of Tony's business cards. They didn't keep one and would like to have one. I don't, and am not sure I ever saw one. If any of you happen to have one and wouldn't mind either sending it to me or copying it and sending it, I'll be sure she gets it.

I just spoke with Ricky Shaneyfelt, Tony's body and paint man and he has one of Tonys cards and Jerri's new cell number. He said he would give her a call and send her the card.

Thanks, Rut.

I met Ricky with Tony a while back. He was working on Tony's race car, and think he also did the TD. Also worked on the Corvette as well. Great guy.

Yep, I stopped by to update him on my Bugeye project when I was in Huntsville looking at the TR6. Can't wait to get my car to him ASAP!

I never met Tony....never even talked to him on the phone... but I was one of the many people that Tony touched with his kindness and sharing of his vast knowledge and experience. I do know "I cried when read about his widowed bride, because something touched me deep inside."

Thanks for sharing those pics, Basil
