And as predicted, those new California "legacy" black plates start showing up on modern cars, not just classics. Kinda diminishes the coolness of the real black plates when you can slap them on a Honda.
It's not the remembering the license plate part that gets me, it's the parking in a spot I can find the car in between massive land boats and lifted vehicles. I try to park next to light poles or other landmarks so it's easier from a visual reference perspective. But parking next to landmarks sucks when they are full of large poop filled birds though.
I remember reading a while back about someone who's license plate was "NONE" He ended up getting a lot of parking tickets since every time a ticket was written on a car with no plates, the officer would write NONE as the plate number.
