I don't think I've seen this posted here. This is a show from the UK on the Discovery Channel. A 20 year old girl is restoring a 59 BE and only have 10 months to do it. This is the first episode in full.

A VERY good waste of 22.5 minutes for me!

Frogeye Restoration

Its a little slow to download so don't try to watch it live.

I'm downloading it now.
BTW I got all ten episodes of "An MG is born".
I think I'll make a dvd out of them and watch on the big screen /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Hmm, maybe put them on bittorent? Then we can all have a copy /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Joking of course, that would be wrong /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Link seems to be broken now... bummer.

It will take a bit to download. It is over 250MB. If you have one of the client programs I can put it on bittorrent for you.

I don't know about the bugeye, but "An MG Is Born" is available, all ten episodes, on Mininova. Link to Discovery Channel shows

For those who are fairly new to "torrent" P2P (Peer To Peer) file sharing, (as I was not too long ago) I use BitTorrent to download files. (Ones to which I own the copyright, of course!)

There, I'm sure I've just wasted *somebody's* Saturday afternoon... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Ron, you have a PM...

Check ebay.co.uk the "is born" dvds quite often come up for sale. If you want them new, check amazon.co.uk

I watched every one after downloading.

Downloading as I type this...

That is wonderful and inspirational. Though I couldn't imagine my own daughter doing something like that yet. She's only 12 anyway. That car was done in less time than mine and from a bucket much worse than mine. Albeit using quite a bit more money, and without other responsibilities like repairing a summer house.

BTW guys. Regarding polish restorations as mentioned in video 2. I have contacts in Poland for car restorations. Quite inexpensive and top quality work. Many people I know have had their cars done there with wonderful results. It is after all only a hundred km to Poland from here.
