Yea, I'll always remember it. Lost once of my oldest friends to cancer right at the start last February. Over 40 years since college we'd known each other and it was like losing another brother. So I'll always have him in the back of my mind till my time comes.
 
My dear departed mother, a product of the Orkney Islands, used to have us all gather in a circle at various family gatherings and sing Robbie Burns’ poem. Whether he wrote it himself or pinched it from the past is unknown to me but you’ve brought back memories. Thank you. Lang may yer lum reek.
