TR5/TR250 For all of you TR250 lovers.....

Ummm...very nice indeed. And I do like the Wedgewood Blue paint - but not quite so sure about the matching interior. A bit too much "Baby Blue" for me I'm afraid. Like being locked in the nursery. Anyway looks like someone did a really nice job (and swapping out the interior colour would be easy enough for the lucky new buyer).

Blue is for baby boys and pink is for girls.

The jury is still out on my chestnut...........

Seems like every 250 I see for sale is baby blue. I guess they're keeping the good colors.

The seller says in his description that the interior color is original, if I recall.

Anyway, I love the colors. Boy/girl/girl/boy, who cares???

Very nice car indeed. But dang, haven't the prices on TR250s gotten up there in recent years.

This would be the one to buy, methinks. :yesnod:

This one was bid up a month or two ago - anyone remember the price? It certainly looks decent, & I always thought that seller was pretty good at being honest and clear in describing what he sold.

i thought the car looked familiar....don't remember how high it got though.
i had a nice chat with the seller about a year ago, seemed like an honest guy.

Looks good, inspiration to me, I remember a number of the light blue TR4s and 4as running around my hometown growing up, but all the TR250s I saw were either red, BRG (actually TRG) or dark blue. I really like the dark blue with a white top (although I think they came from the factory with black), but my car started life red and will stay the way.

The Ebay car looks very nice, hope to get there someday soon.

Very nice car, wish I had the money. Nice color combination, refreshing change from the Red or BRG colors usually see. Anyone check his photobucket link with the pics of the restoration? Very nice restoration, the car has been stripped to the bare shell and completely restored.

If anyone is looking for a really rust free 250 then this may be your next car.I could not find any signs rust repair. Its a little more than i am willing to spend right now since i am a MG guy but if i wanted a good 250 this would follow me home. He has the original wheels and hubcaps but the tires were flat so we just installed other wheels to move it. The only thing i did not look at were the floors. I can arrange contact with the owner and even go to his house and have a good look at it for anyone really interested. He is looking around the $10,000 range. I would take this car over the yellow one that just ended on ebay at $12,800. That car had a passenger side rocker issue and the inner front fender attach point looked to have rust on the double panel area. Its a wad of cash but a car you could keep forever. My number is 704-907-0986 and i will give you his number if you are really interested. NO overdrive. Bob

The yellow 250 from ebay was item number 190344549669. Here are more pics of the car before we moved it from his open shed to his house. These pix are about a year old. Bob
