flywheel installation

Should I use the standard fasteners available from the big three or possibly ARP fasteners instead? Also, what are the recommendations for either lubricating the fasteners or applying anti-sieze compound prior to installation.

The standard Flywheel bolts are actually pretty darned hard and good for all but the most demanding applications. With my new lightend flywheel and since I like to rev up the old girl, I'm using ARP available from aptfast.com. Cheap insurance for me, but for a stocker probably overkill.

What kind of "normal" max RPM's are you running? I only ask because my TR6 seems to run out of steam around 4500. If you have some mods, please list waht they are so the less inventive can copy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif
Thanks

Go for the ARP bolts & torque them carefully....Follow their instructions to the letter.

(They recommend 30 wt. oil or their own lube)

Don't want to get chased around the car by a big metal thing w/ teeth on it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Go with ARP on anything they sell is my motto

Thanks for the input, ARP it is. Their fasteners are actually less expensive than buying replacement OEM.
