Got my 6 new dash parts in aand the top is floppy. I've never seen a dash that wasn't rigid. This is the "replacement" from Moss and it is crap. It's supposed to be from the original manufacturer. I also got the "reproduction" center plinth and it is much better.
 
Are you talking about the top pad? Is it just a cover to glue over the existing pad, or a complete new pad?
 
Mine was NOT floppy in any way. I'd send it back, but call them first to make sure the replacement is not the same.
