TR2/3/3A Floor pan measurement

I had new floors put in a TR-3A but had tunnel changed to allow for an automatic tranny. Installer made tunnel wider than original and thus floor pans are narrower than seat. I have included 2 photos. Can someone with carpets out or an uninstalled floor pan give me some cross measurements as I must correct this for seats to fit properly. Thanks Tom

You are right that a bare body is the best source of measurement but meanwhile a data point: Just pulling the seat out and measuring (carpet & sill plate in place) mine is 18 3/4" wide at the point.

I think the tunnel is straight but of course the outer edge of the body is tapering in as you go back so the exact place you measure is important.
