Float needle hang up

I know I remember reading something about this but cannot remember when or where. When the fuel pump failed on the TC the floats dropped so far down that the needle valve then jammed on the fork. When the pump was replaced both carbs then overflowed. Is there a solution other than using grose jets that shouldn't do this due to their design.
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Dave! I'm guessing that this note was posted somewhere or I saw it in a club newletter. Now, off to get the Dremel tool.

Are you rebuilding fuel pumps at this time?
