flip top gas cap??

Can anyone recommend a source for a flip top gas cap like the one below for a Bugeye? Minimania has a couple, but it not clear if either will fit on a spridget.

I can't recommend a source, but I can say it's typically called a "LeMans" fuel cap. Maybe that will help you find one...

Yes, i'm interested, not in a hurry. Car is still disassembled waiting for paint, I just keep thinking of things I need or want. I know I will be impatient to get it on the road after painting, trying to knock out all the little stuff prior.

I bought mine from ebay uk. Was not expensive, but, I did have to grind the lip off the filler tube to get it to fit.

Found 2 there, both would require cutting the top off of the existing filler neck, but would work.

The keeper ring fits on a 2.25" neck. mine measured a little over 2.3"

David the MiniMania one looks like it would work in the lip of the filler was trimmed off. Now getting it trimmed off straight would be the issue. Guess you could use the old lip as a guide for cutting.
