TR2/3/3A Flexible fuel line

On the TR3 that was fitted with banjo fittings and H6 carbs, they were coupled with a flexible "smiths Petro-flex" braided steel line. This line was fastened to the hard line coming from the fuel pump with a compression fitting and a nut. I have the original petro-flex line and fitting, what I need is the nut or someone who can tell me what thread the nut is.

Best I can tell, the threads are 1/2-20. I found the original hard line from TS13571L with the nut still on it, and tried the nut on the fuel tap (where it fit snugly); then measured the male threads on the tap.

Sorry, I don't want to part with it, but this appears to be a usable substitute:

Note that the threads are different than the common brass fittings.
