Flasher wire hook up

Hello,
I have a 1960 bugeye. On my flasher it is marked P, L and X. My wiring diagram show the flasher being marked with P, L, and B. According to my wiring diagram, the P is connected to the light green wire, and the L is connected to the green/brown stripe wire. Is it reasonable to assume that the green goes to the X since there is no B?

If P=port, and L=Left, what is the value of X.

Hmmm, but Port and Left are the same so X must be 0.

Howcome you got a wire hooked to X then. Boy this Lucus is something else.

On Lucas 3-pin flashers, the letters are:
L = Load/lamps,
P = Indicator Lamp,
B = Battery (fuse box)

The picture I have (thanks John-Peter) is for a common Triden EL13 flasher you can buy at the parts store.
L = Load/lamps,
P = Indicator Lamp,
X = Battery (fuse box)

The Triden EL13 flasher is inexpensive, readily available, and in my experience longer lasting than Lucas.
