Flange bent?

Is this bent over from the axle or something else?

yea that looks very jackish, or standish.

to me anyway

Doubt it's the axle housing due to the containment hoops if something breaks.

Strange damage as that flange is protected above the rear part of the leaf spring. Difficult to use as a jacking point or for safety blocks.

Both sides of mine are this way. The question is, Do I stand it back up before putting the body back onto the frame?

Although I did have the body brought down to me on the back of a flatbed years ago, maybe the guy had a block under these areas for support?

I think that would be dependent on how fussy you are, I don't think it would hurt to leave it as it is.
Standing it back up will put a wave in it.

so play a rousing game of rock paper scissors and see what side wins.
