Flags and Paint Jobs

The workshop I use has had a request from another regular to have her 1969 MGB Roadster repainted in a Union Jack Scheme (ala the E type jag in the Austin Powers flicks).

Now I'm pretty sure I have seen a B painted up like this somewhere on the web, has anyone got any leads on this?

Yeah, I've seen it too. I did a quick search on google and came up with nothing however.

Theres one here in the Toronto area....but he only has his hood done...I've seen the above one before too.

LOL! Do you think the "shaguar" helped that kid got lucky at the prom!? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

LMAO It's doubtful.....He's in desperate need for a set of trim rings to!

Thanks to everyone who replied, it's definitely given the paintshop something to start with on this project (if it goes ahead, apparently the owner is real keen but the Husband isn't so keen!!)

Hopefully they will get the flag right. There is a TR6 around here with a Union Jack paint job that has the diagonal red stripes centered in the diagonal white stripes. Probably looks okay to most people but to a Brit would be like an American seeing the US flag with 12 stripes or 55 stars.
