fixer upper for sale

Yes, looks like a lot of work to restore...
MIGHT make a good parts car for someone though....

My favorite parts of the ad are:
+ Car has been parked for the last 13 years. The car was running when it was parked (had just driven it from Manitoba).
+ The engine previously ran OK, but has not been started for more than 5 years.
+ Photos shown were taken about 1 year ago. Car has been in covered storage since then.

GEE, do you think the gas has turned into silly putty yet!?!

One would HAVE TO give the car a SERIOUS 1ST HAND inspection before buying.
BUT at only $500.00 it MIGHT be worthwhile to someone....

IT DOES HAVE a nice looking steering wheel! :driving:

Come on JP

We both could use some parts?

We could drive it to my house.

Mark

I don't know - I suppose I could weld in the rear wheel arches and grab the wheel - but after that....

maybe you could use the tires

I sent a low ball offer last night.

Then got a reply that they where thinking about it. Then got a message it was sold.

JP did you buy it? Maybe to replace that 1500 engine after all this one ran when parked. Sorry JP.

Mark

you are wicked and I have connections

besides big deal - mine ran when parked too - but I fixed that

I said sorry.

JP my wife had a bone to pick with you about sending me cars out to buy.

Then I had to explain the forum thing. You are back in her good books.

Mark

OK - sorry accepted - my wife appreciates the forum - keeps me from boring her.

Ain't that the truth guys. Guess that's another good reason to be here.
