...I became a Little British Car owner for the first time with the purchase of my '69 Austin-Healey Sprite from longbridgehealey. It's hard to believe that five years have passed already. In this case, time truly does fly when you're having fun. A special "Thank You" to everyone here on BCF who have helped me along during this journey, especially considering I knew essentially zip about these cars.
 
I thought "Sargent Pepper taught the band to play." But this will do also. :grin:

Seriously, right back at ya! It is a great community and great to be part of.

Looking at the plates on my Mk3 Sprite while fitting the correct ones and realized its been five years since my Sprite was laid up by an inattentive driver backing into me. Needs exhaust fitted and interior finished and its finally back on the road.

Cangrats Dave. I have to agree with Rick. Great to see your daughters smile and to have you on board!
 
Thanks guys! This year has been a bit of a disappointment between being laid up with bent rims and just **** poor weather, but I'm sure Baby Blue will be back to racking up miles again in 2019.
 
Congrats man! You got me thinking about my bugeye and when I aquired it as well. This past August it would have been 20 years ago when I drove my bugeye from my great uncles house down to our garage. It was willed to me and I paid $1.00 for it to avoid the taxes. He wanted me to enjoy it before he passed on since it had been just sitting in his garage for years. Like an idiot, I didn't keep the dollar that I gave my uncle and when we came out from transferring the title, he gave me the dollar back. I cleaned it up the best I could and got the engine all tuned up and in late October of 1998 I drove it up for him to see it. I wanted him to know that it was in "good hands"
