General Tech Fitting the Pistons and Sleeves

Well, I was all set to ask a really intelligent question about pistons and liners, but then found posts from 7 years ago when Randall and Geo answered me right away, with all the advice and guidance anyone could want. My question, to my surprise, was identical to the one I had this evening, and I usually don't forget all that much. I guess the experience makes me reflect a bit. It's sure good to have so much talent around here, but we LBC folks might be getting a little long in the tooth, and too frequently see evidence that life is indeed short. Glad we're living it playing with our toys.

When young visitors at Old Sturbridge Village ask me why my hair is white and my fingers twisted, I tell them it's Experience. Never use the word Age: "Age is just a number, and mine is classified."

Kinda funny, how many times I do not post because the answer is already here.

Makes for a quieter forum - but just as valuable; arguably even more valuable because I get my answers ā€œimmediatelyā€!

Thanks to all the posters with experience and wisdom!! (I can attest, the two are not always correlated - often I seem to have the former, but not the latter!! šŸ˜€)
