I saw my first XJ220 today, at a Jaguar event held at a local dealership. Privately owned, imported from the UK, it still had British plates front and rear (R109AAR), and a UK tax disc displayed. It was a left-hooker, which surprised me, British Racing Green, much quieter that I had anticipated! Picyures to follow when I get the film developed.
 
Only just! I thought that it would sound like a Ferrari or some other high-performance "look at me" car, but it was so quiet you would not believe! The citizens of Waukesha, Wisconsin got a treat (although they wouldn't have appreciated it) when the owner took the car for a ten-minute blast around the area to warm it up properly before putting it in its display area for the day.
