The guy running the drill rig that located the miners and drilled the escape shaft works for another division at the company I work for. He was drilling water wells for forward operating bases in Afghanistan and they flew him in to run the rig because he was "the best", I guess they were right. It must have been nice to go from wearing body armor to locating trapped miners. Glad they all made it out.aeronca65t said:The folks from the drilling company in Berlin, PA should be very proud. Doesn't make the story any less amazing but gives one pause to think how all that happens in a media age.
