First time published! [photo essay]

Thanks Sammy, Thanks Steve...

I'm really just honoured to be published in a magazine like Alberta Views, I know what you mean, and you're making me blush! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My latest photojournalism work is on display over at Flickr, from earlier today.

sherloch, told ya ya had the stuff! they even used the lone tree picture i mentioned in a post to you "looking as if it knew of its impending demise" told ya, told ya, "moochoo" congrats keep up your fine work, told ya! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Congratulations again. Hopefully the first was the hardest and lots of opportunities will follow.

@anthony7777

That photo... I was very surprised at the images they chose to use, I always did like that photo, ran it through a critique group once and it was roundly criticized and no one liked it..

I know the one he wanted to use as the main image though:

However because it was taken with my relatively low-resolution P&S digital he couldn't blow it up big enough, he could only use a film image for that main photo. I plan to rectify that shortly by adding a dSLR to the stable as noted above...

sherlock, ah critics "whadda day know" now that youve gotten some well deserved "exposure" youll probably need an agent, gimmy a call. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
