Took block in to machine shop the other week, today learned that two cylinders will need to be bored. Have asked Tony for price and availability of a set of .040 over pistons. Think that will be the way to go if they are available. Otherwise will have to sleave two cylinders and it looks to me that the price will maybe work out about the same either way. Cylinders already .030 over.

No bigee but thought it was intresting, was caused by wear and rust.

Note: if you store an engine put some oil in each cylinder just in case, sure won't hurt anything. Even junkers, keeps the rust out.

Bummer on the bore. I can't remember, Jack: Are you sticking with the stock motor, or going the 1275 route?

948 engine, but I guess it is going to be mostly stock. If and when I get this project finished I may do a hoted up 948 engine, stage 3 ? maybe.

Jack - I think they're available...lemme check for you.

Jack - you've got an email!

Moss has 2 sets in stock & I've got a temporary hold on one of them

Check your email, I need some guidance on paypal and such. But I want a set.

Edit: Think you should get an email from Paypal, eheh. Got it figured out I beleive.

Pistons are on their way....

Glad I showed ya how to send a money request Tony?

Hehehehehe. Comes in handy sometimes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like it, I like instant gratification.

Heck, I can now accept money, pay other people, transfer money into & out of a bank account - whooee, on-line banking!

How do you really get the funds Tony. They deposit in your bank directly??

No, its kinda like a holding account...they charge me around 3% to handle the incoming funds & upon my request, they transfer it into a bank account I have for that purpose - transfer in costs, transfer out is free....if I were to leave it with them for a period of time, they pay interest (but there are scum out there who try to break into Paypal accounts so I don't leave much there).

Intresting, had no clue how that worked.

I have gotten lots of Paypal emails and always carefuly delete them. I just do not trust the scamers.
