Well I registered last year and have checked in from time to time, but have never taken the time to introduce myself to the forum. I own a 1967 MGB. I am the third and eighth owner of this LBC.
Long story short: It was my first car, I sold it, I lost track of it (17 years), I found it and bought it back (2 years ago).
I Live in Pueblo Colorado with My wife and two sons (ages 9 & 14). I spend spare time and money working on my old friend. I can’t afford to much of either, since I am a family man first. I have been blessed with two close friends that have caught the LBC craze. We try to hit rallies, vintage races and car shows together. Both of my sons love to go and participate. I do all of my own work with lots of input from my friends.
WHAT I'VE DONE:
Rebuilt 3 sync trany. & replaced clutch.
Installed gear reduction starter.
Rebuilt front suspension.
New rear springs & shocks.
Valve job.
Replaced SU carbs with Weber 32/36 dgv.
Installed elec. cooling fan.
Many misc. small items.
NEXT PROJECT: rebuild original SU carbs. and re-install.
I am always looking for more British car nuts in southern Colorado.
