Hello all,
This is my first post, although i have been referencing this forum for abouta year. Great info!
I have a 1962 BT7 i am restoring, and, of course have many questions. My latest is regarding the speedo and angle drive unit. I followed previous posts and my cable turns freely when disconnected from the anle drive. The angle drive also seems to turn freely. There is a copper washer that is "seated" next to the OD. Is this the washer that is frequesntly referred to? The only other thing is that the cable seems a bit long and requires compression to connect it to the angle drive. Is this the culprit to a non functioning speedo?

Welcome to the non-lurker. Might I suggest you move your post to the Austin Healey link. You're more likely to get a larger response to your query.
