First Place Trophy but.....................

Jack - the radiators on the website you provided probably cost more than my car is worth. I was looking for a reasonably priced radiator.

I was hoping that someone on this forum has seen or used the VB replacement for the 76-79 Midgets. I can't get any information from VB. Does anyone know if there is someone at VB that you can talk to for technical questions? The people on the "Order Line" don't know anything about the parts they sell.

Just out of curiosity, did the damage cause the radiator to leak.

If not, I saw a nifty tool at Harbor Freight for bending radiator fins back into place. Could you use such a tool to repair your fins and keep your radiator?

Morris - the radiator doesn't leak now but several of the tubes are worn flat so there isn't much metal keeping the radiator from not leaking. I wouldn't want to use the radiator as is. The local radiator shop said that the tubes are very weak where the fan clutch tore into them.

I see radiators in the Moss catalog on pages 14 and 15??

Jack - you don't see a radiator in the Moss catalog for 1976 to 1979 Midgets. I also called Moss and they told me that they were not available.

yep, you are correct, no 76-79. sorry.

Out there in the hinderlands of Edmond I should thing a recore would not be a big deal. Lots of farmers and such.
