We pulled the show down yesterday, a friend invited me to participate in the project, rather than using past work, it was a group project where we all took photos of a specific place, then all six of us got three prints each to hang... Alas out of 18 photos only a mere one was sold over the three months the show was up, admittedly it was in a non-traditional gallery setting of a local independent book store...
On one hand I'm thankful to Linda for asking me, on the other hand I was hoping to sell at least one print! At least enough to recover the money I put into the show... Another friend of mine stated yesterday that she was was just glad to be exhibited even with a no sale, I guess I'd like to have a little higher standard then that, a statement like that seems like a copout to me, or maybe it's just me... :ambivalence:
Anyway, off to the first classic car show of the year, I'll be offline for most of the day... I need something to cheer me up! :hammer:
