First MG - a B

Been searching for over a year and saw a lot of rust in the process, but finally found a B that looked good to me and could pass a professional pre-purchase inspection. It's a black chrome-bumper '74 and I will pick it up tomorrow. Will add a photo as soon as I figure out how to do that. I've enjoyed lurking and learning here, but now will have many questions.
Thanks in advance for the help I will need.

Congratulations and welcome to the brotherhood!

Be sure to:

1) Buy a good repair manual....Bentley or Haynes...preferably Bentley (most of us have both).

2) Find and join a local MG or British car club.

3) Join the North American MGB Register.

4) Do not be hesitant to ask questions....the only stupid question is the question that remains unasked.

5) Learn how to fold the hood (top) correctly. It's in the Driver's Manual as well as in the front of the Bentley manual. Also can be found online as a presentation of John Twist.

6) Remember....."if you drive it, you WILL have fun!"

Next time you plan on doing that let me know. I'm just west of town. Love to have you take a look at mine & offer advice.
