I read in one of my books that the First & Last MG Imported into the US were in the Gast Museum. Looked on the internet & It no longer exists. Where did they go?

I am planning a trip through southern PA and this was on my list as I am going to Lancaster. What else to do I wonder?

I live about 70 miles east of that (former) museum and saw them a few years ago. Sadly, it has closed. The 2 MGs you mention were purchased by Gast from the Henry Ford collection years ago (as a pair, they refused to split them up). The MGB was a black LE roadster. Not sure about the last, but I think it was red. [edit: was a 29 M type]. I may have photos somewhere. They had several stunning Deusenbergs and at least one Cord.

They been split now...and the LE resides in Barrie Ontario. I talked with the owner a few times....He bought it off ebay from a museum(not sure which one) where it had sat for many years....When the idiot museum work crew went to move it out a fuel line cracked and set the thing on fire. Didn't do much damage except for paint and a few unhood rubber items. But it recieved a cheap respray. It's still a pretty good car, but the owner says he'd like to redo it in the near future.
It was at the Toronto auto show last year in the MG exibit along with 'old number one'...I posted pics here awhile back, try a search.
 
The Antique Auto Club of America is headquartered in Hershey less than an hour from Lancaster. They have an excellent museum.
