First Jag

Hey all. Today I registered and took home not only my first Jag, but my first foreign car. 1996 Jaguar XJ6, and a beautiful shade of green. 113,225 miles, $2900.

What I love the most is all the unusual quirks. The steering wheel lowers and raises itself when you start and turn off the car. The buttons are all in very different places. This is the first car I've had that came with a sport mode.

The throttle needs to be broken in a little, and I'm going to need a new air filter housing eventually, but all in all, I'm happy.

If anyone has tire recomendations, I'd welcome them. Currently on a set of Toyos.

Nice ride (and a wave to my home state).

Thanks. Now all I need is more money for parts, tools, tires and rims.

Well if you working don't plan on retiring soon-Keoke--

What's wrong with the rims you got? They are stock for the 96 & 97 and are called Dimple style. I had them on my XJS, while I was refinishing the originals. What does your air box look like? Send me a pic off line.
