Finally drove the 74 today. It was fun but I still have a ways to go mecanically. Brakes pulse and do not stop as quick as I'd like but then again I have not touched them. My driver side rear tire rubs, could be the 195/60 could be the shock could be my fat arse.
Muffler it hitting something so I need to adjust. Fuel pump is noisier then I've ever heard. OD, signals and reverse lights do not come on which I am in the midst of working on. Other than that it feels pretty good to drive it. I think I need to bleed the clutch as well. It feels like it is not as responsive off the line as I would like. Shifts real smooth though and the steering is decent.

Well done, first drives are just to sort out the kinks.

And believe it or not I took the Mrs with me.

Vincent

That sounds very successful to me, way to go.

Took the Mrs. with you,HMMMMM? Smart one you are, I took mine out on the first run then again on the second so she could see the difference it made when you invested some MG points, now she's hooked.

Smooth move VP. Always a good idea to play with your best friend.
