First day and still alive

Just finished my first day on the Motorcycle safty course and I'm still alive! Took the classroom portion Thursday. Tomorrow we finish up on the course. It was a lot of fun, but one guy (who had just purchased a 20k BMW bike, dumped the little 250 Honda he was riding in the slow turns portion. Hope he does better with his new shiney BMW!

Excellent! You are starting out the right way!

Does New Mexico's DMV except a passing grade from a motorcycle class for the riding portion of licensing?

Mid-life crisis, Boss?

No, more like 3.69/gal gas with a 70 mile daily commute.

Good on you for starting this way, Boss. May you have many happy miles.

Does this mean you will become a patron of "Coffee At Dawn?" Just be sure your park your bike in the correct spot. I.E. BMW's with BMW's, Harleys with Harleys, Ducattis with Ducattis, you get the idea. Agatha, however, parks any place she wants.

On a serious note, congrats on learning the right way but then I would not have expected any less of you.

I haven't ridden in a few years. I got fed up with my POS Suzuki, and sold it. I spent more time trying to make it run, than enjoying it.
I was told by a wise old sage once, that there are only 2 kinds of motorcyclists in the world. Those who have wrecked a bike, and those who will. Fortunately, I still fall in the latter category (With road bikes at least).
Still, I feel the draw of a 2 wheeled ride every now and then. Riding a motorcycle is a lot of fun.

"Your Certificate should arrive in the mail shortly." :jester:

I'm watchin' the Top Gear episode they did in Viet Nam. Had a thought of you folded onto one of those scooters as they show Jeremy taking the "test". :jester:

Seriously, CONGRATS!!!

Good work, boss. Enjoy the ride.

How was it? Reviews paint it as a flop at the box office.

Then it's probably great!
